We are seeking a qualified part-time Human Resources Support person for our Trucking division located in Red Bluff, California. This part-time position will support the administration of our human resources department for our multi-state Trucking division, working 25 hours per week with a negotiable schedule ranging from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

About The Position
• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department
• Assist with hourly payroll and payroll processes as needed
• Data entry that is consistent, accurate, and timely
• Manage personnel files and related documents, including input, verification, and filing
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and new employee orientation processes
• Obtain employment reference checks
• Maintain HR forms inventory and place material orders
• Understand and answer questions about Company benefits, HR policies, and procedures
• Collaborate and effectively communicate with other HR Coordinators, crew members, supervisors, and managers across multiple states
• Recognize and support Company goals and priorities
• Understand and help ensure compliance with State and Federal employment laws and Company Policy
• Exercise discretion with sensitive and confidential information
• Accomplish multiple tasks and priorities within given timelines

Qualifications
• 1 year of recent office admin work, or educational equivalent, with prior HR experience preferred
• Experience meeting established deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information effectively and discretely
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Accurate typing and data entry skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proven ability to work independently and work effectively as part of the HR team
• Self-motivated, dependable, and organized

The general wage range for this position at Sierra Pacific Industries is from $19 and $26 per hour, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to: relevant work experience, skill, knowledge, and/or education.
